Hop on board the world's first completely self-sufficient solar-powered vessel for a full day of sailing and snorkelling with this deluxe cruise from Port Douglas headed for one of the best locations on the Great Barrier Reef - the Low Isles. You’ll depart early in the morning to ensure the best conditions and none of the day is missed, then head out towards a sheltered blue lagoon to moor where you'll be given a comprehensive snorkelling briefing on deck then be transferred to the island for a guided snorkelling tour accompanied by an experienced and knowledgeable marine biologist. Gaze under the crystal clear waters and encounter turtles gliding over coral gardens, view an incredible variety of fish and corals, and many other wondrous bounties that the Great Barrier Reef has on display.
Next, dry off and head out on land for an exploration of the island environment while learning about its history, then enjoy a delicious tropical buffet lunch on board your sailing vessel before disembarking for additional snorkelling and an informative glass-bottom boat tour to view the myriad coral gardens below! Afternoon tea and delicious home-made cakes are provided to refresh us before enjoying a relaxed sail back to Port Douglas to soak in the incredible views.

Sailing, snorkelling & swimming and a delicious lunch.
Awesome experience with well informed and friendly staff. Location was picturesque, plenty of time for snorkelling and swimming and walking around part of the island. Very delicious morning tea and lunch. and a very relaxing and enjoyable sail back to the mainland.

Great full day trip. Would recommend to anyone.
Well trained staff and most helpful for poorer swimmers to make sure they were OK and felt comfortable snorkelling given it’s not something we do every day! Stopping at the island was good as this gave a break from swimming and the tour guide was very informative and she answered all our questions. The buffet lunch was excellent and there was plenty to eat as there was also at the breakfast. It was great to actual sail back to port and the bit of wind that blew up provided a lot of entertainment for the kids with the water splashing over the front deck. Felt totally safe throughout with the crew.
