A complimentary shuttle is provided from central Queenstown for the 20-minute drive up to the Coronet Peak ski field base. You will then catch the chairlift up the mountain to reach the 5,500ft launch site (small additional cost on the day). As you take off on your paragliding flight , you will be treated to panoramic views of the snow-capped peaks, alpine lakes, and glacier-carved valleys below. Your Skytrek Paragliding pilot will provide an informative commentary throughout the flight, and you will even have the chance to take the controls if you are feeling brave!

What To Bring
  • You'll be walking over snow and ice to access the take-off area so warm clothing is essential (dress for between 5 degrees to minus 10 degrees)
  • Good hiking boots with ankle support is required
  • We can supply boots, gloves and jackets on request if you don't have your own
Additional Information
  • The maximum weight for this experience is 120 kg
  • This experience is available to ages six and up
  • Winter (June-Sept) flights depart at 9am, 11am, 1pm and 2:45pm
  • A reasonable level of fitness is required
  • All customers will be required to sign a liability and medical disclosure form
  • This experience caters for groups of between one to 5 participants per trip, depending on the time of year
  • Spectators can come along free of charge on a space available basis
  • Chairlift foot pass necessary to reach take-off ($35 extra) Photos & Videos are available from your pilot after landing. This is an additional cost and you only need decide once you've landed. You'll receive at least 30+ images and 2-3 high quality videos which can be transferred to your smart phone immediately upon landing
Cancellation Policy
  • Cancellations prior to 48 hours before departure will incur no cancellation fee. Cancellations between 48 hours and 24 hours prior departure will incur a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations within 24 hours of departure will be charged at full price.
